From the time I can read newspaper, I remember one common topic that is reported again and again – sex and swamy.


The very first one I can remember is Osho – I was small at that time when he died. And the newspapers would provide all the news of him – what and hows of his ashrams. The name of his one book (I think most of the people know the name of the book and they don’t even care whether there is any other book or not) is the main attraction and it’s not necessary to read or understand before making a remark on that book. Very frankly by the time I entered college I never read about his books – and there were few students who believed in his thoughts in our hostels. I was very clear about one thing – they’re not the right people. And in my world I was not interested to know about these people.

Osho’s picture for me was his “golden taps” – how bad he’s I could easily guess from his taps.

Now came the time when I started reading, listening to Osho’s thoughts – and I’m floored by that – what an extraordinary person one can be !

And everything he said made a new world available to me – my life got a new opening to think and listen from a different perspective. And whatever you tell – whatever stories you can throw to demean this person – it’ll never change the high place for him.

In the process I started reading and listening to another swami – his newsletters and youtube videos shattered my world of thinking and pushed me further to think beyond what I could.

And see the paradox of life – now he’s the new attraction for sex drama. I hope all of guessed by this time who this person is.

Now the very fundamental question that I’m asking myself – why is it taboo in our country that our swamis can’t indulge in activities which is natural and I don’t know anyone who is showing anger not indulged into those activities.

Swami’s can’t have non-veg, they can’t stay in a five-star ashram, they can’t have sex and the list goes on.


This is where we’ve degraded ourselves by promoting swami’s more than what you and I are – they’re the very same. Only thing is I and you don’t take any responsibility of life and hide behind those people – and when we see that they’re same human as we’re , we can’t accept that too.

Distinctions work

I had booked the air tickets two months back - so that my in-laws can fly from Kolkata to Mumbai and go back. And the reason was that I can get the tickets cheap.
It was a nice time spending one month with them - they're here specially to celebrate our son's birthday.And my MIL was generous enough to spoil her daughter by cooking and serving for the whole month.
My son was the happiest person - from the time he wake up till dozes off, he'll listen to unlimited stories from MIL who is having infinite energy, passion and stock to deliver every single day.
And the bonus for me was getting delicious and timely food everyday (and a coffee in the morning).

The whole month went fine and yesterday I went to airport to see them off. I was on my way back, and I got a call from my wife - that the Kolkata flight has already gone and my in-laws were late.

My son and I rushed back to the airport. In my way my son acted as if he's called up the police number to let them know that I was driving beyond the speed limit - so I came back to the limit and reached th airport.

I went to the ticket counter to ask what we can do now as we've missed the flight - and to my surprise I found that the ticket I booked was actually from Kolkata to Mumbai rather than Mumbai to Kolkata. And as there was only 1hr time gap was there, the ticket was spoiled.

Now came the next question, what to do next - we came back home.
I went through all the options available - finally chose a 1935hr flight - it was a bit costly as this is a last minute ticket. In any case, I opted for that and in the evening dropped to to the airport.

The best part of the whole drama was , I was never guilty for a single moment - I was present 'this is so" and what's next to be done. There was a whole world of power available with me to deal that - thanks to the distinctions on goingly available through assisting !

WOW !

It has been about four months that I shared regarding the mantras of losing weight - and you know what - today I could fit in my old trousers which were 6inch lesser !!!

Today morning my wife asked me to go through the stack of the old garments and check which ones I can use - and there is a cord pant - my favorite. I started with that. And it fitted me :)).

Then I trier others one by one, and most of them are working. Couples are still tight, I think next couple of months and I'll be able to wear those also.

Wow - wow - wow !!!

Change is constant !

I normally like to read the questions that people ask on different platforms- magazine,newspaper or internet.
One of the common problems I see is "I am XX yrs old and I've a boy/girl friend.We had good relation for past one year.Now s/he has started changing a lot'.

The same goes with my wife - she'll say the same. You're not the same at "that time'.
So I just wanted to share what I think on this:

Every human being is changing every moment - whether the person is aware or not. Every moment of life is showing something different.
You don't question when your son/daughter is changing in early years - this is natural.Then why not the same for the grown ups.
And whoever is having this concern - let them ask themselves - are they the same as they're yesterday. It can't be - you're elder by 24hrs,
You've seen something in these moments.If anyone can take a video session of a day and compare after 1 year , will it be the same - obviously not.

Now the point is how fast or slow we grow and whether we're present to that.Most of us are not aware of this growth.Then there is no point of accusing the other person.

Dhyan and Dharana - Focus and Belief

Two integral aspects about Patanjali's Yogasutra is Dhyan and Dharana.
I came to know about this when I started my meditation through RSVK.
At that time it seemed that this is something special and I need to
inculcate this in my life as these were not present.

When I was reading "An autobiography of a yogi" - this was given a
special importance - how to do your dhyan.

All of a sudden a new aspect has opened up for me regarding these two - there
is nothing new to these two aspects - we're already designed with these -it's
only that we're not 'aware' of. The whole life in face we run with these.
I was watching my son of 6 years - his whole day - from the time he wakes up
till he's asleep - his world is filled with BEN10 and aliens.There is absolutely
nothing else.He can speak, he can eat, he can sleep with BEN10/aliens.
Now if I see, the focus that he's having right now in his life is BEN10/aliens.
And the whole 'Dharana' about his life is guided with the world of aliens.

The point I wanted to make, everuone of us is glued with these two - whether we
can see or not - whether we agree or not.

Look into your life right now - what are you glued to -is it money, is it career,
is it sex, is it problem with your spouse, is it with some complaints about someone,
is it what'll happen tomorrow.....you'll see that you're glued - whether you like it
or not - you're stuck.

Check with yourself - is this what you really wanted when you're a kid - really to
become worried, really to become tensed, really to become nasty.HUH.What a way to live.
Still can you see what way you're not will to give up your "Dhayn and Dharana".

WAKE UP !!! SID did it - you can also do.Provided you're willing to allow yourself to do so.WAKE UP!!!

One of my father's dreams before dieing is to see that the end of communism.
I got a link http://www.johntitor.com/ where it looks that a person came from the year 2036 with a time machine to year 2000. Here he gives some hint about the history he knows in his time line.A part of it is:

There is no large industrial complex creating masses of useless food and recreational items.
Food and livestock is grown and sold locally.
People spend much more time reading and talking together face to face.
Religion is taken seriously and everyone can multiply and divide in their heads.
One of the biggest reasons why food production is localized is because the environment is affected with disease and radiation. We are making huge strides in getting it cleaned up. Water is produced on a community level and we do eat meat that we raise ourselves.

On my worldline, life is not easy. We live in a world recovering from years of war, poison, destruction and hate. All of it, courtesy of the thinking and actions of people that live right now in the same world you do, worrying about which stocks to buy or whether or not a stranger is lying to them on the Internet.

Lift

My parking in the office is at -2. Three other persons also joined me.There are going to 0 while I'm moving to 1.

I enter the lift first then three guys. One of them who entered the last started pressing the button to close the door - I was watching that actually he is pressing the wrong one, that actually opens instead of closing. After doing that 3-4 times he's frustrated. He asks the fellow on the other side of the lift to push the close button - he does and door closes. The first guy says that the button on his side is not working - his friend says how will that work if you push the incorrect one. He is a bit ashamed - he glances towards me - I give him a smile. All of us laugh quietly.
