WHOSE WHO

Question:
From very long time this question is in my mind . Once I had an argument with one of friends about who does the child belong -- to mother or the father (I know that it is both and it is foolish to think he/she belongs to one)but if a situation comes that it is to be decided then.When if we observe usually the family name of male continues to the child so the argument is even though is the female womb that gives birth it is the seed from the male .It is like a plant from mango seed belongs to mango family not to the soil even though it is grown on soil ...........I am not able to agree with this concept , I don't know the reason (I know certainly that it is not me being a female i cannot accept that.) But I want to know the explanation of this ...

When I think about this more I got another thought all rivers originate and emerge into sea even though they are same water they are given different name and their banks are respected a lot they why not the female is given the name even though we say mathrudevo bhava first ............. is it to satisfy male ego ...or some thing any reason attached to it which I am not able to understand.

Dear this is a very interesting question.

Any manifestation if you observe in nature is the alignment of 2 opposites.They are both balancing energies - yin yang, shiv shakti, creation happens with the alignment of opposites..... this is the law of nature.

Issue that we have made of child is only a social one not natural one.

At all the times societies have made an attempt to align with nature to create and experience peace harmony and prosperity.Most of the times we have failed to interpret the laws and mechanisms of nature due to our own limited identities that we acquire from our immediate environment and attempt to interpret nature with those limitations.

Child belongs to nature. you and I both belong to nature. everyone belongs to nature.... so don't try to take possessions of things that belong to nature

Let us not engross in our thoughts feelings and values emerging from our limited identities and endeavor to discover TRUTHS of life.

Truth reveals itself naturally and automatically once we step beyond our identities.

Take a daily step to emerge beyond your own limitations by Closing your eyes 15 minutes twice a day........ Truth will emerge......

Realizations will happen....... Awareness will dawn..........

I cant relate anything from a third party's perspective. I need to relate to everything from where I'm standing. Even the chair where I'm sitting right now, I can relate from where I'm sitting. Though my chair is the same as the other person's chair, but I relate to that differently than mine ( Wah - what an example !!!). So much confined in my world.

So even the child is my/our child, and for others children- I'm no one.

My wife and I were talking and came the subject of sex. Some people boast of having making it 3-4 times in a day and sharing about the love,romance and spark in their life.
Isn't it only that "they made sex 3-4 times" and nothing else.
It's not they love each other, it's not that they're romantic, it's not that they're alive - it's only that "it" happened 3-4 times.

Now you may ask does it mean they don't have love,romance.... in their life. I don't know the answer. They may have, they may not have. What's your take on this.

Being a citizen

It is early morning on 30th April,2009 - and my wife is asking me to get up early at 7am though it's a holiday as it's a V-day.
And we're ready to get out of house @7:30, keeping our 6year old son sleeping.
We both go to the polling center and see a big queue. And my wife starts grumbling that we should have come before 7 only to make sure that it does not take long for us to cast our votes.
And to our surprise our queue is the longest one.
Now we're standing there for half an hour and hardly there is any movement. At around 8:15 one fellow comes out shouting that it'll take the whole day to move the line.Seriously it was looking that the movement is too slow. My wife is also getting tempted - whether we can get back early so that she can catch our maid. She suggests if this is the same she'll go back now and come back later, while I can be there and cast the vote. Also the concern is if we she comes too late, she may find that someone has already exercised her right.
Any how I tell my wife we'll be done by 8:30 - don't worry about that. Suddenly there is a movement in the queue and things start moving very fast. Someone informs that there was a lady - and her concern took more than 30min to get resolved -now everything should be ok.
Next 5 mins we're in the room - we show our voting slips along with the identity card.

AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I PRESS THE VOTING BUTTON. At last, I also say who should be elected.
So this time my father can't say that we're not putting our right into action.
